Ministry of Commerce and Industry says Afghanistan exported goods worth roughly 800 million Afghanis during last month via air corridors.
Acting minister of Commerce and Industry, Ajmal Ahamad, said on Saturday that 512 metric tons of commodities were transported to foreign countries in 83 flights through different air corridors.
He said the exports are worth 10 million dollars (800 million Afghanis).
Afghanistan exported 45 tons of good to European countries in 18 flights, 414 tons to India in 31 flights, and 26 tons to UAE in 14 flights.
The rest of the exports were transported to UK, China, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Samir Rasa, a spokesman to the ministry, said that fresh and dry fruits, handcraft, vegetables, carpet and pelt were included in the exports.
