UN agencies and donors will review assistance in Afghanistan with key focus on transparency and oversight, the United States said on Monday.
US Charge d’Affaires for Afghanistan Karen Decker announced this in a statement on X.
“Afghan women are difference-makers, defenders, drivers of change,” Decker said.
She appreciated the “joined-up approach” of Indrika Ratwatte, Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Afghanistan.
