Pakistani Military Regime Bombs Civilian Homes in Helmand and Kunar

The spokesperson for the Helmand governor, Mohammad Qasim Riyaz, confirmed that airstrikes were carried out in the Safar area of Garmser district, but said that the exact details of the casualties have not yet been confirmed.

A security source in the area said that Pakistani military forces targeted two civilian homes in the Safar area of Garmser district in airstrikes. According to the source, preliminary information indicates that four civilians were killed and eight others, including women and children, were injured.

The source added that the airstrikes were carried out at around 3:30 a.m. last night.

Meanwhile, Islamic Emirate spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said that Pakistani aircraft bombed civilian homes last night in the Chugam area of Shaltan district in Kunar and the Safar area of Garmser district in Helmand.

According to the Islamic Emirate spokesperson, nine Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed in the attacks, while 11 others were injured and three homes were destroyed.

The Islamic Emirate spokesperson condemned the attacks, describing them as “aggression and a crime” in violation of accepted principles.

As of now, no official statement has been issued by the Pakistani government or military regarding the reported airstrikes.
