Three people, including tribal elder Malik Tariq Wazir, were killed in a landmine explosion in Rustam Bazaar in Wana, South Waziristan.
According to reports, the explosion occurred near Gulshan Plaza this morning as Malik Tariq Wazir’s vehicle was passing through the area.
Local police said unidentified militants had planted explosive materials at the site overnight. Four other people were injured in the incident. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
