Sri Lanka Cricket has announced that it will host a tri-nation cricket series involving the A teams of Afghanistan, India, and Sri Lanka in June this year.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on June 9 with the opening match between India A and Sri Lanka A.
Afghanistan A (Abdalians) will face India A on June 11 and June 17, while they will take on Sri Lanka A on June 13 and June 19.
According to the tournament schedule, each team will play two matches against each of the other two teams. The two teams with the most victories and points will qualify for the final, which is set to be played on June 21.
Meanwhile, Board of Control for Cricket in India has also announced its India A squad for the tournament under the leadership of Tilak Varma, while Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have yet to unveil their squad lists.
