Nooruddin Azizi, Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, along with a number of Afghan and Uzbek officials, visited textile factories in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara Province.
The visit highlighted efforts to strengthen industrial cooperation and underscored the role of textile production in expanding trade relations between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the visit was conducted with the aim of strengthening trade and economic relations between the two countries. It also focused on reviewing progress in cotton processing, examining machinery used in cotton factories, observing production processes, and familiarizing with innovations in textile manufacturing.
During the visit, emphasis was placed on expanding industrial cooperation, exchanging experiences, and creating new opportunities for the growth of and investment in the textile industry between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
