Officials from the Kunduz Department of Economy have reported the successful implementation of 84 development projects this year, with a total investment of nearly 6 billion AFN, funded by the Islamic Emirate in the province.
These projects encompass various initiatives, including the paving of public roads, concreting of streets and alleys, construction and reinforcement efforts, service projects, agricultural and health initiatives, as well as capacity-building programs. While some projects have been completed, others are still in progress across the province.
Qari Abdul Basit Latifi, head of the Kunduz Department of Economy, noted that an additional 178 development projects, valued at over 56 million USD, have been carried out this year in collaboration with various institutions and organizations. Among these, 118 projects have been completed, while the remaining projects are ongoing.
Latifi emphasized that the execution of these projects has created employment opportunities for thousands of residents and significantly improved living conditions for numerous families in the province.
