Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, CEO of Da Afghanistan Breshna Sharket (DABS), met with officials from the Turkish company Technilegos to discuss potential investments in renewable energy production projects.
According to a report by Bakhtar News Agency, Dr. Omar assured Turkish investors Dr. Ahmad Salimi Chelishkan and Farouk Deniz that the current secure and transparent governance environment in Afghanistan has created favorable conditions for investments in electricity production from various sources and the construction of related facilities.
He noted that both national and international investments are on the rise, providing an opportunity for Turkish investors to participate in these sectors alongside their global counterparts.
The representatives from Technilegos expressed enthusiasm for investing in electricity production, construction of facilities, and technology development.
Following two significant conferences organized by DABS that highlighted investment opportunities and offered support to investors, there has been a marked increase in interest from both domestic and international investors. Currently, several projects are in progress as a result of this growing interest.
