The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced the completion of dozens of development projects in Kandahar.
According to a statement from the ministry, the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Directorate of Kandahar has completed and handed over 160 development projects in Maiwand district at a total cost of more than 275 million Afghanis.
These projects include the cleaning of irrigation canals, construction of rural roads, culverts, six small dams, eight earthen dams, and retaining walls.
The ministry noted that during the implementation of these projects, job opportunities were provided to hundreds of people, and with their completion, many problems of local residents in Maiwand district have been addressed.
