The acting head of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), expressed grave concerns regarding the escalating poverty and hardship faced by many in Afghanistan.
According to a report released by the press office of the Afghanistan National Disaster Management Authority (ANDMA), Turabi emphasized that a significant portion of the Afghan population is struggling to meet basic needs. He called for immediate aid, particularly food and non-food assistance, to alleviate the suffering of those affected.
Mullah Noorudding Turabi also pointed out the necessity for standardized warehouses in various provinces to improve the management of humanitarian supplies.
In response, Alexander Matyau commended Turabi for his ongoing efforts in humanitarian aid and collaboration with the Red Cross. He reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to working closely with the National Disaster Management Authority to address emergencies and support affected families.
