During a recent visit to the Qosh Tepa Canal, Mawlavi Ahmad Jan Bilal, head of Emirati companies, underscored the canal’s significance as a vital project for water management and agricultural mechanization in Afghanistan.
Accompanied by Abdul Rahman Atash, head of the National Development Company, Bilal and his delegation inspected the ongoing works at the site.
In a meeting, Bilal expressed appreciation to the National Development Company leadership for their commitment to the project, noting that the progress made in the region has far exceeded expectations.
Abdul Rahman Atash reassured local citizens of the project’s rapid development, stating that the construction is adhering to all necessary standards and is being executed by skilled Afghan engineers. He highlighted that excavation work for the second phase of the canal is now 85% complete, with wall construction reaching 74%. Additionally, the construction of seven bridges along the canal route is also progressing well.
