Turkish Airlines to resume flights to Kabul

Turkish Airlines has announced it will resume flights to Kabul, after suspending operations in August 2021.

The airline follows on the heels of Flydubai and Air Al Arabiya, both of which resumed operations recently.

Turkish ambassador to Kabul, Cenk Ünal said in a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Aviation Hamidullah Akhundzada that Turkish Airlines will resume its flights to Kabul.

In this meeting, both sides discussed bilateral transport and transit cooperation, strengthening of relations between the two countries and other topics.

The Turkish ambassador said that as the overall security in Afghanistan has improved, he wants to strengthen relations with Kabul in the field of air and land transport.
