President Ghani Stresses Digitization, Quality Education

President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Mohammed Ashraf Ghani chaired a meeting on the implementation of the programs of the Ministry of Higher Educations, a statement from the Presidential Palace said Sunday.

Following the week of professional and higher education, during the meeting with the leadership of the ministry, the programs of the ministry for the year 1400 were discussed and the country’s president after hearing the reports, emphasized that the Ministry of Finance should cooperate in line with the provision of financial independence of the universities.

The president also instructed the resumption of the higher education ministry’s projects suspended in the Ministries of Urban and Development and Lands.

The country’s president emphasized for the quality higher education and said the universities should teach students in accordance with the needs of the country.

He added that this year, the biggest priority of the government was digitization and urged the leadership of the Ministry of Higher Education to work on this plan.
