The Ministry of Education (MoE) is organizing a consultative meeting for the first time to collect public views for reforms and upgrading the education curriculum, according to a statement on Saturday.
Around 300 participants that will include teachers, education officials, experts, ulema, parents and human rights officials will provide their input to the ministry in the meeting on how to improve the curriculum, the statement said.
Working groups had been formed and launched their work on matters like segregation of schools by grads, merger of new subjects, language learning and other related issues.
People had been informed regarding the summit one month earlier through social media in which they had been requested to share their views regarding the future of their children.
The MoE named ongoing solar year as the year of education and asked citizens to share their views regarding all plans and programs of the ministry in order to become fully involved in the future of their children.
