Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) Chairman Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has reiterated support for the ongoing peace process in Afghanistan.
Addressing party workers in Peshawar on Sunday, he suggested the democratic process should also be strengthened in Afghanistan besides taking peace talks to their logical conclusion.
However, he warned against linking the long-running Kashmir dispute between Pakistan and India with the Afghan peace process.
Sherpao said his party was striving to forge unity among the Pakhtuns and help them achieve their rights. “The issues being faced by the Pakhtuns cannot be solved unless they stand united.”
