Mawlavi Sayeed Barat Shah Agha Nadim, the Director General of the Afghan Telecommunications Authority (ATRA) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has announced the establishment of 36 telecommunications sites in Ghor province.
According to Bakhtar News Agency, Mawlavi Mohammad Sadiq Rassas, spokesperson for the Governor of Ghor, stated that Mawlavi Syed Barat Shah Agha Nadim, Director General of ATRA, during a meeting with Mawlavi Hayatullah Mubarak, Governor of Ghor, presented information about these centers, which are planned to be established soon.
He said that 14 sites will be established by ATRA, and 22 other sites will be built by telecom networks to provide the people of Ghor with access to telecommunications services.
During the meeting, the Governor of Ghor raised the telecommunications challenges and needs of the people and requested the Director General of ATRA to prioritize providing services to residents of remote and underserved areas of the province.
The Director General of ATRA also emphasized that the establishment of 36 sites in Ghor will be implemented soon and efforts will be made to resolve telecommunications issues in the remote areas of the province.
