A group of 26 Afghan pilots and door gunners have completed their training for UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters in southern Kandahar province.
The Afghan Air Force said the pilots and door gunners graduated from the fifth phase of the training for Black Hawk helicopters.
They received their graduation certificates at a ceremony attended by Air Force Commander Gen. Abdul Fahim Ramin, Kandahar Air Brigade Commander Gen. Abdul Raziq Shirzai and foreign partners and trainers.
Coalition officials had earlier said the size of the Afghan Air Force would be tripled by 2023, with the addition of new equipment and aircraft.
