The Department of Education of Logar province has implemented 14 construction projects in different schools of the province over the past six months, costing 160 million Afghanis.
Shahpoor Arab, spokesperson of the Logar Education Department, said that during the first six months of this year, a total of 14 various construction projects were carried out at a cost of about 160 million Afghanis, funded by the Ministry of Education and partner organizations.
According to Arab, within the framework of these projects, modern and well-equipped buildings have been constructed for 14 schools. In addition, sanitary systems, essential facilities, organized solar power systems, and safe drinking water have been installed. With these measures, the problem of lack of school buildings for about 12,000 students has been resolved, providing them with the opportunity to study in a suitable environment.
