A suicide bomber hit a convoy of Afghan forces in Paghman district on the outskirt of Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, killing at least 12 people, officials said.
Nine more were wounded in the blast which happened around 9:20a.m., targeting a vehicle carrying Afghan forces, the Interior Ministry said.
The blast was caused by a suicide attacker driving an explosive-laden car.
Twelve people who were killed in the bombing included also four Afghan forces, two women and two children. The injured included six forces and three civilians.
Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
