The Directorate for the Internally Displaced Persons Affairs (IDPs) has announced the successful transfer of 111 displaced families from Kabul city to Kunduz province.
Mawlavi Sardar Shirzad, head of the internal displacement situation committee, confirmed that the families were selected following the completion of their fingerprinting process.
The operation was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Refugees and the Camp Coordination and Camp Management (C.C.C.M) technical committee.
As part of the relocation assistance, each family received $200 from the Technical Committee. Upon their resettlement in Kunduz, families are expected to receive an additional $1,031 in humanitarian aid provided by various organizations.
